Alan is employed by National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research as MSI Research Manager. He has experience working with agencies to ensure good working relations and in determining the impacts and benefits of research. He also has a good understanding of the requirements of environmental agencies and is familiar with key environmental strategies, including biodiversity.
Alan has a strong interest in land management processes and is committed to wise stewardship and balanced use of the environment.
Alan's recreational interests include climbing mountains and tramping.
