Croydon Bush Scenic Reserve

Croydon Bush is located approximately 10 km to the north-west of Gore, and Dolamore Park lies in the south-western end of the Croydon Bush Scenic Reserve.

Croydon Bush, surrounded by farmland, shows what much of Southland once looked like with forest, grassland and shrubland communities. Native podocarp hardwood forest is home to a range of native birds.

In a field trip to Croydon Bush and Dolamore Park students can explore the geology, forest life and human history of this area.
