Chatham Islands Conservation Awards
For more information contact:
The Chatham Islands Conservation Board presents a Conservation Award annually to recognise the voluntary efforts of an individual or groups who have demonstrated commitment to a conservation project.
It is hoped that highlighting the efforts of conservation initiatives in the community can help to inspire others to become involved in worthwhile conservation projects.
Award recipients are presented with a native timber trophy crafted by a local resident, at the annual pig hunting competition at the start of October.
