Note: The boundary of these prohibited areas to deer farming were incorrectly described in Deer Farming Notice No. 4 1986. The inaccuracies have been corrected in these descriptions. This does not affect the position of the boundary.

- easterly along Waiti Stream to its junction with Bethells Road
- north-easterly along Bethells Road to its junction with Waitakere Road at Waitakere
- south-easterly along Waitakere Road to Swanson Road
- south-easterly along Swanson Road to O'Neills Road, then south-westerly along O'Neills Road to Pooks Road
- easterly along Pooks Road to Candia Road
- southerly along Candia Road to Henderson Valley Road, then easterly along Henderson Valley Road to Parrs Cross Road
- south-easterly along Parrs Cross Road to West Coast Road
- south-westerly along West Coast Road to Shaw Road

- all that area in Thames and Coromandel contained within a line commencing at the mouth of Whangarahi Stream at Coromandel Harbour northerly along Whangarahi Stream to the confluence of Pitoti Stream,
- easterly along Pitoti Stream to its junction with SH No. 25,
- easterly along SH No. 25 to its junction with Waingaro Stream
- north-easterly along Waingaro Stream to the coast at Whangapoua Harbour,
- generally northerly, westerly and southerly along the coastline at mean high water spring to the point of commencement.
