Have your say on the Minister of Conservation's intention to grant a concession to Te Ha O Tongariro Charitable Trust to carry out guided walks on Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Submissions closed 25 July 2017.The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a 10 year concession under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to Te Ha O Tongariro Charitable Trust to carry out guided walks on Tongariro Alpine Crossing in Tongariro National Park.
How to submit
Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal, or make written submissions on the proposal.

Submissions will be accepted up to and including 5pm Monday 24 July 2017.
Once submitted, submitters' information is subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and may be released under that Act. If you wish to keep any part of your submission confidential, you need to state this in writing when making your submission.
Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection, or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.
If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur on the week starting 14/07/2017.
