The Paparoa National Park Management Plan became operative on 1 February 2017 following a full, formal review.
Submissions on the draft plan closed on 16 August 2016. DOC, Ngāti Whare and the Bay of Plenty Conservation Board have revised the draft plan and are currently considering comments received from the NZCA and Minister of Conservation.
