Each six months we update the summaries of information in the National Wildlife Health Database. We provide summaries of data based on species and site information. The date on the report lets you know when it was last generated. If you need a more recent version, contact the database manager at "How do we get access to the data?".

You can find the latest reports from the database below.

Organism distribution report

This report shows how the database can be searched to compile information to make it easy to access and use. This type of report can be used by conservation managers to make decisions about translocations or management actions. See "How do we get access to the data" for more information on how you can customise your own search.

Species reports

The reports for each species show you who has tested them and where. This provides more information about the testing done on your species, and helps you identify sites where your species has been tested. You can then request specific information, for example if I am working on a translocation of brown teal/pateke from Great Barrier Island, I can look at the brown teal report and see that testing has been done on the island. I can then request a copy of the results to help decide what I need to do for my translocation.
