You can help the New Zealand parakeet/kākāriki

Support your local Department of Conservation office in its efforts to control mammalian predators in habitats where kākāriki live. The protection of oldgrowth forest habitats and the reforestation of areas that have been previously cleared will also help protect kākāriki.
