Tawharanui marine environment

The diverse coastline of Tawharanui Peninsula contains a range of subtidal habitats, such as reefs with overhangs, tunnels and caves. Schools of red moki, blue maomao, spotty, red mullet and koheru are common in the park. Tawharanui Peninsula Regional Park and Marine Park are administered by Auckland Regional Council.
