The Hawke's Bay Area Office manages a large area that includes the entire northern section of the conservancy. From the Mahia Peninsula, south to Woodville and from the Kaweka and eastern Ruahine Forest Parks to the Te Angiangi Marine Reserve on the east coast.
Field assistance is provided by the Puketitiri and Ongaonga Field Centres and Field Bases at Wairoa and Boundary Stream Mainland Island.
