Chatham Islands Conservation Board appointments 2010 announcement

Minister of Conservation Hon Kate Wilkinson today announced the appointments to the Chatham Islands Conservation Board. "I am pleased to reappoint Lois Croon and Joanne Tuanui of Chatham Island".
Ms Croon is a farmer and accommodation provider on the Island. She runs a non-commercial endemic plants nursery and was the recipient of the 2005 Chatham Islands Conservation Award.
Ms Tuanui is a farmer and land owner of large covenanted areas in north-west Chatham Island. She has a long association with conservation efforts on the islands. Her outdoor interest are hunting and fishing.
