Programme Outline

All applications must be accompanied by a Programme Outline for the species concerned.

The Programme Outline must:

  • describe the rationale for the species being selected for management and the aims that captive management of the species hopes to achieve.
  • include details of holdings and a workplan for achieving the aims of the programme, and show how the population will be managed so that it is self-sustaining.
  • meet the standards in the Programme Outline template and the stated aims must include those that are required criteria for holding species for Advocacy as stated in this document.
